Here is some of the most important makeup in my collection, it's more or less the core of my everyday face routine, and I'm always taking them with me when I'm travelling!
I thought I would show you, so you can get inspired or perhaps go out and purchase the same stuff, or something similar. I highly recommend it! :)
I apologise if some of the makeup I'm showing you are limited edition.

Cork is a light warm toned brown, which to me is multi functional.
You can use it to define your crease, so your eyes become more sculpted.
And you can use it to fill in your eyebrows, this will of course vary giving your natural eyebrow colour.
Shroom is a great and subtle highlighter to place on your brow bone and inner tear duct.
Chanel Vitalumière Aqua is an amazing quality foundation, it has a light texture and is easy to handle, I recommend you using your fingers to work it in your skin.
It has a matt finish, which is great for the slightly more oily skinned.
It hasn't got heavy coverage, but it's possible to build more coverage from more layers.
Mac Highlight Powder gives a really beautiful and natural luminosity to the skin.
I recommend you to use highlight powder on the highest point of the cheek bone and the bridge of the nose.
Remember to blend it out well!
Mac Studio Sculpt Concealer is really great and gives good coverage.
My advice is to get a concealer with salmon undertones no matter what colour skin you have, because the red will cancel out the blue in your under eye circles.
NW is the red toned ones, whereas NC is yellow toned.
Mac Paint Pot in Painterly is an eye shadow base, which purpose is to prolong the lasting of the eye shadow, to prevent creasing of the eye shadow and to give more vibrant colours.
You can get a lot of different colours, but this one is skin toned, so it is wearable with every colour and look.
The green concealer from LR you use before foundation on areas with red tones or blemishes, this will again cancel out the colour.
It's important you blend it well, and only use it on the actual red spot, otherwise it will only defeat the purpose.
Mac 224 brush is a blending brush, which is an essential to have in your makeup collection.
It works perfect with blending out eye shadow, but it works just as well with applying concealer under your eyes.
The Mac blush is a really pretty sheer pink.
It's easy to work with and gives a beautiful and fresh colour to your cheeks.
But really it could be any pink you prefer, as long as it's a tone of pink that suits you, you will never go wrong with pink on your cheeks.
The Chanel liner is really not an essential - but a liner is!
I'm just trying this one out, because I ran out of my last one.
This one comes in a powder form, and if you wet the brush and mix it with the powder, you will get a very opaque black liner.
I have to say that it's not the most easy liner I have used, so if you're new to the whole liner thing, I would recommend you getting a felt tip liner instead.
I hope this is a bit helpful. I would really love to hear some of your makeup essentials, I'm looking to expand my collection and always appreciate advices. x
